I-PRAC carries out a rigorous and in-depth approvals process on property owners and rental agencies. As a result, all applicants can expect to receive a response to their application within three weeks.
Property owners and rental agencies can apply to be I-PRAC approved through the I-PRAC website. The application process involves a number of checks and verification procedures, which can help reassure travellers that you have been thoroughly vetted and verified as a genuine and trustworthy accommodation provider.
As part of the approvals process, we require applicants to upload documentation to verify their identity and property ownership. This includes:
Proof of bank account registration
Proof of property ownership
Certificate of Incorporation
We work closely with government agencies worldwide to confirm that the application and supporting documentation supplied by a property owner or rental agency is legitimate. I-PRAC currently has relationships with government authorities in 28 countries including Italy, Spain, France and the USA.
Using the most sophisticated verification techniques, we carry out comprehensive checks on every applicant’s personal contact details, including addresses, phone numbers and email addresses.
We also conduct a series of checks on the marketing of properties on rental platforms such as AirBnb and HomeAway, looking closely at property photos, descriptions and reviews to ensure they are 100% genuine.
Once a property owner or rental agency passes all of our checks, they will officially be ‘I-PRAC approved’, allowing them to display an I-PRAC logo and their unique ID number anywhere their property is advertised online. Because our application process is so thorough, applicants can typically expect to receive a response to their application in approximately three weeks.
