Moving Mountains is a privately-owned and locally operated Vacation Rental Management company founded in 1997 by Robin & Heather Craigen.
They came to the Colorado Rockies with a background in luxury sailing charters in the British Virgin Islands. Moving Mountains is today a leader in luxury and ultra-luxury lodging in the Colorado Rockies, having grown from offering just one luxury home in Steamboat Springs to exclusively managing over 200 exceptional properties in Steamboat Springs, Beaver Creek, Vail, and Breckenridge.
From day one, the goal has been to provide a superior experience for guests by solving the great challenges accompanying a mountain vacation with a group of family or friends. Providing exceptional lodging is just the starting point. A dedicated guest services team assists with all aspects of vacation planning from arrival to departure, including transportation, ski essentials like lift tickets, ski school and equipment rentals, grocery stocking, personal chef services, and even a fully catered experience, including private driver service, chefs and staff for the entire stay.

Homes are never referred to as units, and individual attention is given to each owner to build long-term trust through personal relationships. In 2019 the company opened a new office in Avon, Colorado, servicing the premier mountain destinations of Vail and Beaver Creek.
In 2021 the company acquired Paragon Lodging in Breckenridge and expanded into a fourth premier market. Moving Mountains continues to see strong growth in all of these areas.
