Welcome to our Apartment My name is Chris. I am an optometrist and my French wife Rosenn has been a ‘stay at home’ mother. Over the years we have stayed in various self-catering houses and apartments and we have had the opportunity to assess what we enjoy and what makes a stay special. We always felt more comfortable in quiet, clean, well-kept residences, with fully equipped kitchens, plenty of hot water and easy access to nearby facilities.
In May 2019 we had the opportunity to create our own self-catering accommodation when a long-term tenant vacated our flat in the middle of Glastonbury. The property is ideally suited to visitors due to its proximation to the High Street, and within easy walking distance of any of the town’s restaurants and attractions. It is, however, tucked away and extremely peaceful.
With the apartment empty we took the opportunity to completely strip it out. We installed a modern kitchen, including dishwasher, a shower room, and furnished it all with new furniture. We have created an extremely comfortable place to stay right in the middle of town with its own parking space in the private car park.
Always ask your member to provide you with a rental contract and invoice. It is vital that you have a contractual document with anyone who offers rental accommodation.
